Electric City Canoe Regatta

You read it right . . . this year's event will again
consist of 2 days of racing and activities!
Day 1 - On Saturday, we will be holding the 12 mile
NYMCRA Points race, a 3 mile Rec Race, and the
One mile Fun Race. T-shirts (marathon racers
only) & prizes. Don't forget to bring a dish to pass
(or $2) for the picnic!
Day 2 - On Sunday, we will be holding a 6 mile C-1
Pro Race and a 6 Mile Marathon Race. Cash
awards will be given for the C-1 Pro-race only
(hopefully paying to 8 places).
Need overnight accommodations?
Although not widely publicized, camping is allowed in the park, but there are no
facilities available, but also no fees.
Arrowhead Marina is located at 2 Van Buren Lane in Scotia, just minutes from the
Lock 9 park. They can be reached at 518 382 8966.
Other camping facilities and motels available in the Schenectady / Scotia /
Rotterdam areas.
Primitive camping is also available at the Greiner Estates. There is ample room for
tents with an privy available. Please contact Kim at 518 875 6497 with questions or
