Electric City Canoe Regatta

You read it right . . . this year's event will again
consist of 2 days of racing and activities!
Day 1 - On Saturday, we will be holding the 12 mile
NYMCRA Points race, a 3 mile Rec Race, and the
One mile Fun Race. T-shirts (marathon racers
only) & prizes. Don't forget to bring a dish to pass
(or $2) for the picnic!
Day 2 - On Sunday, we will be holding a 6 mile C-1
Pro Race, 6 Mile Marathon Race, and a 6 Mile
Pro-Am Race. Cash awards will be given for the
C-1 Pro-race only (hopefully paying to 8 places).
Need overnight accommodations?
Arrowhead Marina is located at 2 Van Buren Lane in Scotia, just minutes from the
Lock 9 park. They can be reached at 518 382 8966.
Other camping facilities and motels available in the Schenectady / Scotia /
Rotterdam areas.
Primitive camping is also available at the Greiner Estates. There is ample room for
tents and outhouses are available. Please contact Kim at 518 875 6497 with
