  Thruway to exit 26
  
• Continue straight from
  the toll booth to cross
  the bridge over
  Interstate 890
  
• Follow the signs for
  Route 5 West
  
• Follow Route 5 west
  toward Amsterdam
  
• Turn left onto Route
  103/Bridge Street
  
• Immediately turn left
  again into the Lock 9
  driveway
  
• Follow the driveway
  around to the right,
  passing under Route
  103, keeping the river
  on your left
  
• The start of the race
  will be on the up-river
  side of the lock
