- Take I-90/the NYS
Thruway to exit 26 - Continue straight from
the toll booth to cross
the bridge over
Interstate 890 - Follow the signs for
Route 5 West - Follow Route 5 west
toward Amsterdam - Turn left onto Route
103/Bridge Street - Immediately turn left
again into the Lock 9
driveway - Follow the driveway
around to the right,
passing under Route
103, keeping the river
on your left - The start of the race
will be on the up-river
side of the lock
